  •  Finish Household Acids & Bases project and turn in according to the directions in Google Classroom.
Thursday 4/16:
  • Use the Quizlet links posted on Google Classroom to begin preparing for the upcoming Benchmark which will be next Thursday. 
  • No additional graded assignments will be given between now and the benchmark. However, more review materials will be posted in the next few days. Students are encouraged to use these diligently so as to do well on the benchmark exam.

  • Complete the Blood Vessels EdPuzzle assignment posted on Google Classroom. This is for a daily grade.
  • Carefully read additional instructions on the assignment post which will provide you information on how to prepare for the assessment assignment which will be provided tomorrow.

  • On the Google Classroom Classwork page, you will find instructions for the Phet Simulation Lab activity you are to complete. This will be a lab grade. 
Tuesday 3/31:
  • Complete the EdPuzzle and practice questions posted in Google Classroom. These will be graded.
  • We will have a quiz on all the material from the last two weeks on Thursday
Wednesday 4/1:
  • Complete the Acid/Base Review posted in Google Classroom. Please read the directions on the post before beginning.

Monday 3/30:
  • Please complete the short virtual learning survey on the Stream in Google Classroom 
  • We will begin Chapter 15. Please use the provided fill-in-the-blank notes as you work through slides #1-14 on the provided PowerPoint. These notes will not be graded but will be used on other assignments as we progress through this chapter. 
Tuesday 3/31:
  • Complete the EdPuzzle and Heart Labeling activity posted on Google Classroom. These are for a daily grade.
Wednesday 4/1:
  • Set 2 of fill-in-the-blank notes have been posted in Google Classroom. Please use the provided PowerPoint from Monday and your textbook to find the information. These notes will not be graded but will be used on other assignments as we progress through this chapter.
Thursday 4/2:
  • Complete the Quizizz in Google Classroom about the heart, associated blood vessels, and blood flow through the heart. Students have 2 attempts at this quiz.
Friday 4/3: 
  • Watch the video clip (5 min max) posted on Google Classroom Stream. There aren't any questions with it ...just WATCH it! Trust me it is good so just watch.
  • "Catch-up" - make sure all of the week's assignments are completed and turned in.

Monday 3/23:
  • Add your own comments and additional information to your fill-in-the-blank acid/base notes while viewing the videos for which links are posted in Google Classroom.  
  • Be prepared to use these notes for a graded assignment on Tuesday
Tuesday 3/24:
  • Using the links provided on Google Classroom, follow the directions of the Classwork page for completing the Gizmo virtual exploration assignment. This will be a lab grade.  
Wednesday 3/25:
  • On the Google Classroom Classwork page, links to two short video clips and a practice quiz are provided.
  • Students are to submit the results of their quiz. Please FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS given on the assignment post. 
Thursday 3/26:
  • Follow the directions in Google Classroom for the writing assignment listed on the Classwork page. 
  • If you do not have a Zoom account please set one up. It is free and will allow us to video chat. I will post an invite in Google Classroom on Friday for anyone who has questions concerning any of the assignments from these last two weeks and feels a video chat would be beneficial. 
Friday 3/27:

Monday 3/23:
  • Chapter 14 Review Sheet (Mastery Test) is loaded in Google Classroom. You print and complete the questions 1-21. If you don't have printing capabilities then write your answers on notebook paper. I will prove a link for turning in your answers on Tuesday. 
  • Expect a quiz on Wednesday. More details will be given soon on what to expect

  • Turn in MT questions #1-21 on the Google Classroom link provided. 
  • Complete the MT question #22-46
Wednesday 3/25:
  • Turn in MT questions #22-46 on the Google Classroom link provided 
  • Complete the EdPuzzle about Hemostasis 
  • Read the post on Google Classroom Stream
Thursday 3/26:
  • Students should review notes, textbook, and video materials as preparation for the quiz. It is a timed quiz with application-level questions. Without a solid knowledge of the material, it will be difficult to be successful on this quiz.
  • Complete the Chapter 14: Blood Quiz - the deadline is set for Friday at 11:45 pm.
Friday 3/27: 
  • "Catch-up" - make sure all of the week's assignments are completed and turned in.
  • Preview Chapter 15 (Heart & Blood Vessels) as this is material that we will begin on Monday
  • If you do not have a Zoom account please set one up. It is free and will allow us to video chat. I will most likely utilize this sometime in the near future if these digital learning days continue for much longer.

Monday 3/16:
  • Upload pictures of your limiting reactant homework to Google Classroom.
  • Completed fill-in-blank notes from Acid/Base PowerPoint - these will be used on future digital learning assignments and this material will be tested when we return to the classroom.
Tuesday 3/17:
  • Resources have been added to Google Classroom to help you understand the naming of acids as well as the difference between monoprotic verses polyprotic acids
  • Complete the EdPuzzle which is posted to the Google Classroom classwork tab. This will be a daily grade.
Wednesday 3/18:
  • Complete the practice questions about naming acids and bases. These are on a Google Form which is posted to the Google Classroom classwork tab. This is a graded assignment so make sure it is completed.  Refer to notes, Periodic Table, and polyatomic ion sheet as needed. 
Thursday 3/19:
  • Use the link provided on the Google Classroom "Stream" tab to join the Quizizz for your class
  • Complete the assigned Quizizz which is linked to the "Classwork" tab --- BE SURE TO JOIN THE CLASS FIRST
Friday 3/20: 
  • Students should refer to their fill-in-the-blank notes which were assigned on Monday while viewing the EdPuzzle that has been posted in Google Classroom. Additional notes can be written in the open areas of the fill-in-the-blank notes. 
  • The questions associated with the EdPuzzle will be graded.

Monday 3/16:
  • Upload pictures of Blood typing labs (if you did not turn them in last Friday) to Google Classroom
  • Read Chapter 7 in Stiff book - questions on this chapter will be completed on Tuesday 
Tuesday 3/17:
  • Complete the Chapter 7 Stiff questions which have been posted in Google Classroom on the classwork tab. PLEASE read the directions before beginning the assignment.
Wednesday 3/18:
  • The Blood PowerPoint has been reposted to Google Classroom and additional resource links with information about leukocytes have been included in the post.
  • A chart to help organize the necessary information has also been posted. Students should print or download to their drive this chart and then use the resources to fill in the information which will be assessed on the next test. 
Thursday 3/19:
  • Review all your notes before beginning the assignment. Also, read about Blood Plasma on pages 541-542 in the text - it is a short but important section in your textbook. 
  • Use the link provided on the Google Classroom "Stream" tab to join the Quizizz for your class
  • Complete the assigned Quizizz which is linked to the "Classwork" tab --- BE SURE TO JOIN THE CLASS FIRST
Friday 3/20: 
  • Read the message and directions on Google Classroom. There is a short textbook reading assignment with questions assigned.
  • Additionally, an optional second attempt on the Quizizz from Thursday has been made available. The due date has been set for Sunday so that students are not rushed to complete.
