Fresh Start, an orientation day for rising 9th graders, is Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Last Names A - K · Time: 8:00am - 11:15am
Last Names L - Z · Time: 12:30pm - 3:45pm
At Fresh Start, students will become familiar with their classes, learn about high school activities and opportunities, and tour the school. All rising freshmen are encouraged to attend.
- Students must wear dress code clothing to Fresh Start.
- There will be no food at Fresh Start; students should eat before they arrive.
- Students will receive their schedules and lockers at Fresh Start. More details about lockers will be coming soon.
Students should be dropped off in the car rider lane that is in FRONT of Buford High School. Students who live within the city limits and would like to ride the bus to Fresh Start should request transportation by clicking this link by Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Campus Visit Opportunity
On Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm the BHS campus will be open for 9th graders and a parent to:
- Walk the building and familiarize themselves with their schedules
- Practice opening their lockers
Please note that teachers will not be available during this Campus Visit time.
