My name is Bethany Phillips and I am excited to be a part of the Buford High School team for the coming 2019-2020 school year! For this coming year, I will be teaching Honors, College Prep, and Resource 9th Literature & Composition.
 
A Buford, GA native, I spent 6 years in Milledgeville, GA at Georgia College & State University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received my Bachelors of Arts in English in May of 2012 and my Masters of Arts in Teaching in May of 2013, and then returned back to BHS to begin my teaching career, where I've been ever since.

Reading lots of books, NYC, coffee, encouraging notes, musicals, coffee, coffee mugs, donuts, Barnes & Noble, Harry Potter, my husband, Isaac and our daughter, Kinley.
