American Literature:
Here is a Youtube link to the movie A Raisin in the Sun. I have sent you all the movie guide with questions in a word document. Below is a suggested stopping point for each day that aligns with the viewing guide.

Wednesday, 4/29- Watch to 59:28 (I will be sending a google form with a written response question to be answered as a writing grade).
The viewing guide is due at the end of the movie.
Advanced Composition:
Here is a Youtube link to the documentary “Living on a Dollar”. I will be sending a google form with a written response question for Wednesday. This is a great documentary about a few teenagers who literally set out and live on ONE DOLLAR! There are some emotional parts and some difficult parts, but pay attention to the details and reactions of others. Take a few notes if you something stands out to you- you may be able to use it in your response.

Goal: Use knowledge of the novel, the movie, and literary techniques to compose discussion answers Assignment: Using the story line presented in the novel, as well as the movie, answer 2 of your Socratic seminar questions. These are discussion questions and should be a well developed paragraph with evidence. Assessment: Answers to all questions will be due Wednesday at midnight and graded by Thursday at noon. |
