Here are some practice questions for the benchmark. It will consist of 10 questions from the following topics
Vector Operations
Matrix Operations
Conic Sections Writing equations with the circle, parabola, ellipse, and hyperbolas.
I recommend you try the odd problems. There are two of each type so you have more than one to practice.
The benchmark will be on Tuesday April 21.

Let's see if you know how to work with the Hyperbola. Use your notes and solve the following problems. This is required and for a grade. It's good practice for BM 2 and the following test over Conics: Ellipse and Hyperbolas (date: TBA)

Using your notes and work, complete the following problems. You will need to upload a pic/pdf your work as well. Make sure you write clearly and number your problems.

Watch the today's video to check your work from yesterday and try graphing today. Watch the original video or the second problem in today's video for a demonstration of how to graph. Try the examples. Choose two of the 4 graphing questions to upload as a pdf or pic to turn in.

Grading Rubric:

Communication: Did you respond in complete sentences. Are there lots of mistakes in grammar and spelling.
Logic: Does your argument make sense. Did you put some original thought or is it just rewriting the articles.
Form: Did you follow instructions, quotes etc. . .
