1st-A.Edwards CP Chemistry-1st Period: 2019-20 Assignments

Create a 3-4 minute video demonstrating the three types of thermal energy transfer. Incorporate the calculation of Kelvin temperature from Celcius, and the use of a phase change diagram into your video. Upload your video to Youtube and then provide the link by attaching it to the assignment post.

Complete the following Quizizz. Use your notes from last week. You will have 2 tries at this Quizizz and your best grade of the two will be recorded as a daily grade.

Finish the notes from Tuesday and complete the EdPuzzle below.

Use the provide slides and notes to review temperature and temperature scales. Students should only focus on slides #1-8 and notes up to the section on Converting Between Scales. Stop at that point.

Complete the short writing assignment and turn it in for a final writing grade.

You will only have ONE opportunity to take this exam. Please read all questions carefully and make certain it is completed before clicking the submit button. This will be your last Benchmark grade so please put forth your best efforts.

Please let parents know that I will work to have grades updated as completely as possible by Monday, 4/27 so that you will know better where you stand going into these last two week. Please see the email that was sent out from the school system that provides information about the schedule for the next two weeks. Beginning next week we will begin a alternating day schedule and I will only be posting assignments on Tuesday/Thursday. All regular grades for this class will be cut off as of May 7th so you need to promptly complete assignments that you wish to have included in your average.

In the event you have not achieved a passing average by May 7th, I will be contacting you individually to discuss credit repair options or summer remediation if necessary.

Follow the instructions on the attached document. Please if at all possible complete this assignment by typing your answers into the document, saving it to your Drive and then uploading your completed assignment back to the assignment post. You will first need to download the document to your computer or Drive. This assignment is a test grade so do your very best. It is due on Wednesday evening.

Complete the EdPuzzle below. Then complete the Dilution Practice problems attached below and turn them in. I will add the grade from the practice problems to the EdPuzzle score. To turn in the practice problems you can either type your answers and upload it from you drive, or you can print a copy, write on it and upload a picture.
I will also add some optional websites below that explain how to work these type problems incase you need more explaination.
