Mid-Year Criteria to Retain Parking Privileges:

Less than 7 unexcused tardies for previous semester

Less than 7 unexcused absences for previous semester

Meet all academic requirements for previous semester

No discipline issues (Discipline record can impact eligibility for parking pass.)

Participate in Drug Screening Program
Parking Tags:
-
Tag must be visible on rearview mirror at all times while on BHS campus

$5 replacement fee if lost or stolen
-
Tags are non-transferable
-
Reassignment can only be done by BHS staff (see Mrs. Garner)

No Refunds
-
Parking is NOT prorated.
Arrival and Departure:

Drivers and passengers must exit the vehicle and report to the building immediately.

Students must exit the parking lot immediately after school unless they are with a teacher, sponsor, or coach.
General Restrictions:

No speeding – speed limit is 10 mph

No loud radio
-
No loitering or horseplay
-
Yield to all bus and pedestrian traffic

All parking areas are to be considered school property. Items not allowed in the building are not allowed in the
vehicle. BHS has the right to search any vehicle on campus.
PARKING RULES MUST BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES
Security:
Efforts are made to ensure parking lot security; however, BHS assumes no responsibility for damages, loss, or theft. If accidents occur on campus, it is up to the individuals involved to call the police and settle any damages.
Violations and Consequences:

No parking pass visible – 1st time – Warning; 2nd time – Boot, Fine; 3rd time – Loss of parking privileges (Admin
discretion)

Trading, Selling, Lending Pass – 1st time – Warning; 2nd time – Boot, Fine; 3rd time – loss of parking privilege

Disregarding general restrictions – Loss of parking privilege (Admin discretion)

Failure to meet Mid-Year Criteria – Loss of parking privilege (Admin discretion)
