Welcome! My name is Brooke Heindel and I am excited to start another year at Buford High School! This is my 10th year teaching but my 8th here at Buford and I truly feel like it is home. I attended Georgia College in Milledgeville where I got my Bachelors degree in English and then later my Masters in English Education. This year I will be teaching Advanced Composition and American Literature. Even though English is a great passion, I also love sports and athletics. That is why I am all in for Buford athletics and work with the football team keeping live stats, am the head swim and dive coach, and am the director of track and operations. When I am not at work I enjoy Vandy football, Dunkin coffees, Chick-fil-A, crime podcasts, trivia nights, and mani/pedis.
