Senior Privilege Form 2024-2025
At Buford High School, we believe that students earn privileges for achieving high standards. Students who meet all of the following guidelines are:
Eligible for 1 privilege period either 1st or 7th period during this coming school year:
Have completed a pathway or is planning to complete a pathway during this school year

Have not failed a class during the past two school years
Have had no suspensions from school during the past two school years with the exception of rules 4,5,6,7,17 and 18. *Please note that all discipline infractions are subject to the Administrator’s discretion.
Are on track for graduation
Not enrolled in Dual Enrollment for this school year
Eligible for 2 privilege periods either 1st & 2nd or 6th & 7th or 1st & 7th periods during this coming
school year:
Have completed a pathway or is planning to complete a pathway during this school year

Have never failed a class
Have taken or is planning to take at least 2 AP courses before graduation
Have exceeded on 3 out of 5 End of Course Tests
Have had no suspensions from school during the last two school years with the exception of rules 4,5,6,7, 17 and 18. *Please note that all discipline infractions are subject to the Administrator’s discretion.
Are on track for graduation
Not enrolled in Dual Enrollment for this coming school year
In order to continue to have the privilege period(s), standards must be maintained.
If a grade in a class drops below a 70 after the 2nd benchmark, the student may lose the scheduled privilege period(s) for the remainder of the semester.
Discipline record remains in good standing
Attendance/tardy record remains in good standing
If you believe that you meet the criteria listed above and are interested in having a privilege period:
During the registration process in PowerSchool, register for the privilege period(s) as an elective choice.
-Return the form signed by you and a parent/guardian to Ms. Bradshaw in the counseling office.
The form must be returned and the criteria must be verified by the counseling office before the period will be assigned. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Bradshaw in the counseling office.
